Shirley joined Sandersons in 2022.
Experience
Shirley began working in intellectual property as a secretary in 1989.
After training with Marquesa Search Systems, she continued to collaborate with them for many years as owner of her own successful trade mark searching company, Ingram-Macrae Searchers Limited (2001-2021). Shirley chose to attend university later in life and in 2020 graduated with first class Honours in Biomedicine from The University of London.
Shirley joined Sandersons in June 2022 and qualified as a CITMA Paralegal in 2024.

IPPC – Patent Paralegal Certificate – 2023
CITMA Paralegal – 2024
Outside Work
During her time at university, Shirley became heavily involved with Bioarchaeological projects in South America. She hopes to continue excavating and analysing human remains on a volunteer basis a little closer to home, as a hobby!
